Case: On 4th August, students as well as general public started gathering in Chittagong. On this day, Awami League leaders and activists attacked a procession of students on its way from Jamalkhan intersection to Kazi Deuri intersection. Shaibal Das Sumon, councilor of Jamalkhan Ward of Chittagong City Corporation, led the attack. On that day, a man wearing a helmet was seen holding a firearm by his side. In the same procession, another person is seen pulling out a weapon tucked in his waist. The students were fired upon from that group.
